my car will not start all it will do is turn over had a lot of rain a lot of moisture on the engine could it be that it got on my opti it is not vented it is a 93 z with 102,690 orginal on the opti sounds like it might backfire what do you think.

 

My 93 does the same thing when it get wet, sometimes it takes a day or two to dry completely out...... IF you cant wait that long, you could get a hair dryer.. It might work..

how long has it been since your car was started. Just to rule out the getting wet the same thing happend to me about 5 months ago i replaced the opti, coil, and some other stuff but nothing worked. it was also raining really bad when my went south. finally i got a fuel pressure guage and it was my pump. just before you go and spend 3 to 4 hundred bucks on a opti test every thing. the bad part about mine i could still hear the pump come on but didnt have enough psi to crank it. sorry to run on but i spent a lot of money that i didnt need to. good luck!
