Opstispark websites?

Does anyone know the website adress for websites that sell an optispark for a 94 LT1? I'm looking to buy a new one for a cheaper price other than Summit Racing (about $390).

Re: Opstispark websites?

I agree Z06Z28's post and link to Shoebox's site! I just ordered a non-vented opti for my 94 Z28 from Jason yesterday. $319... Way cheaper than getting it locally. I tried to find one at a local parts place like Autozone, Advance, Napa, etc... But for a complete non-vented opti, Jason or Dal are the way to go...
Give either of them a call.

I'm also considering the dynaspark opti, since i pulled mine open and there is a lot of rust inside. I doubt the dlteq system can work for me on this one. Is there any other websites that sell it for cheaper, other than the $600 price?

If I'm not mistaken, the Dynaspark Opti isn't available for the 93-94 LT1... In order to use it, you would have to convert to a vented setup which would include such items as new timing chain, timing cover, change dowell pin length on your cam, etc...
Good luck,
Steve

You are mistaken. They have non-vented and vented.

I got a brand new non-vented opti for sale. $275 Shipped. PM if interested.

Re: Opstispark websites?

As always, Shoebox is correct... I wish I had asked that question before I ordered my opti... I probably still would have ordered the stock GM opti, but would have considered the option of the Dynaspark...

$320 for stock unvented
$600 for Dynaspark for 93-94 lt1

I'm replacing mine for the first time after 125k miles. Not because it failed, but because I have to replace the water pump and figured I'd do plugs, wires, and Opti while I was in there...
