opinions on brake pads

hey guys i just need some opinions on what brake pads to get this time. last time i did my brakes i used stock rotors and ceramic pads, and of course it warped the **** out of my rotors, but the pads are barley worn down, you have to heat them up befor they will grab well and they leave almost no brake dust. this time i ordered slotted and cross drilled rotors, you guys think i should stick with the ceramic or should i get regular semi metallic. and what brands have worked well for you guys.

Re: opinions on brake pads

EBC greenstuff pads were the worst pads I have ever run in my life. I would not wish them upon my worst enemy. They produced more brake dust than any other pad i have ever run. They took FOREVER to warm up making the car a bobsled for the first couple of braking attempts and even when they did warm up they were very inadequate.

The best pad I have ever run are Raybestos Quiet stops. NO dust and excellent performance.

yeah ceramic pads are good for the no brake dust but eat the **** out of rotors, organic pads are really soft on the rotors and dont have to get hot to work but wear quicker, i just use bendix pads on all my brake jobs, they work real good and arent to hard for the rotors

Re: opinions on brake pads

ive used bendix befor they are pretty good, and the life is long, but im looking for the best braking power and the longest life, my camaro might be cuming out here to germany, and i need some good brakes for autobahn driving. you do alot of high speed stops on the autobahn. and even if i dont bring it out here i still want good brakes.
