Operation Smoke Screen
Used Seafoam for the first time today. My car has 80,000 miles on it. Pretty cool stuff! After I poured half the can in the brake booster hose, I shut the car off with it, waited a few minutes, dump the rest in the fuel tank and started her back up. I reved it a few times and smoked out my entire front yard
I nice drive finished off the rest of the neighborhood.
Can't say I notice much difference besides maybe just a smoother idle. It was fun doing it though.

I've heard about this stuff before, what is it supposed to do exactly? Does it clean everything in your engine? I've heard of it referenced to fuel infectors and valves.
I'm also assuming that while it's in the system, it doesn't burn very clean...

I have no cat, and my oxygen sensors are just fine also. The stuff burns off, and all you get is smoke. How the hell is smoke going to harm an O2 sensor?
Really the only problem I've heard is when people dump seafoam into their crankcase and it breaks loose a huge chunk of sludge which in turn lodges on the oil pickup, starves the bearings for oil and pretty much just ****s up the whole program! However, using it in your fuel system should be just fine.
