Re: open circuit, on o2, please help

Driver side O2 has 2 wires going to the PCM. The low side of the signal is on PCM connector C which is white on pin 19. Wire color is tan/white. The high side of the signal is on connector C pin 20. Wire color is purple/white. If the splice location is in a tough spot, pull the harness up through the top of the engine bay toward the master cylinder and do the work from the top.

Make sure if you splice wires that it is done between the PCM and the connector. DO NO splice wires between the O2 and it's connector. The O2's use the wires to receive the oxygen it requires. Use solder and heat shrink tubing.

If you are using an ohm meter, unplug the PCM. Since ohm meters use voltage, if left plugged in, you chance damaging the PCM.

Dave

PS, how about making a signature so we know what you're driving the next time we help with a question?
