Lightbulb Which Ones?

Im trying to figure out which headers to go with. And I want to know if they MAC's would be worth the money to goto over the hooker shorty's.

Anyone runing these? Which would you go with?

Definitely go with the Macs over the Hookers. I one of my T/A's has the macs, and they're quite nice. Great plug access, and I've personally seen a bolt on stock convertor LT1 go 12.89@108 if I remember right, with the MAC headers. Great bang for the buck.

One question though, why not Long Tubes?? That's going to get your biggest gain.

thanks for the info..
I cant go LT, because of emission reasons.

Can I go with a off road pipe with OBDII car, and still pass emissions?

Anyone else recommend the Macs over the hookers?

Are you stuck on those 2? If not why don't you look at the SLP shorties. They got the most HP amongst the shorties.

if you are going with some of the cheaper shorties go with MAC's they have the best benefits of all. If you got more cash go with the 1 3/4" headers like SLP or RK sport.

i have the as&m headers and i also have emissions and passed.mid lengths are great for people who have emissions and still get the same flange size as long tubes.

I will get the slp's then. I thought the mac's or hookers would be better. Had no clue that the slp's make more power. TY

If you've got the money, go with the ASM headers. Completely emissions legal, hook right up with no "installation kit" needed Ala SLP setup, and they are proven to be some of the best mid length headers out there.
