one wire needed to be hooked up

I replaced the O2 sensors in my '94 Z28 A4. I have headers and full exaust swap. What I found on the passenger side is a loose wire. Its black (main color) with a white stripe. On the end is a "eye" let. It looks like a ground, but I don't wanna hook it up wrong, and fry something. Car ran somewhat ok, I was fouling spark plugs out every 600-800 ,miles, Wires from passenger side 02 where melted. Both O2's were heavily soiled with soot. So I'll find out about this one wire and see where I lay.

PS Car ran awesome when cold, sucked donkey when it warmed up, thats why the O2 swap, (older than hell)

I think that's a pcm ground wire that you're looking at. There should be a threaded hole right under #5 spark plug. It usually has a stud and the wire is held on there with a nut.
