'Ol Faithful coming out of my radiator...

So I found the problem behind my slowly dropping coolant level. Today I was giving a friend a jump because she left a light on overnight. Well, when I popped my hood, there was a stream of coolant shooting from my radiator! Once I got closer, I noticed that I had a crack in the plastic of the radiator. I have NEVER had a problem with my car overheating or any other coolant problem for that matter. Why in the world is my radiator cracking?! Obviously I'm going to have to replace it, but should I just stick with stock or should I go with like a Be-Cool radiator? I plan on doing a F-1A on a 383 within a year so would that be something I should just upgrade now?

You can buy just the tanks and have a radiator shop replace the tank. I thnik I paid less than $40 for the tank and did the repair myself. It took about an hour or so because I went very slow when I bent the tabs on the aluminum body. I got the tank from GM Parts direct.

Is it rubbing up on your body? Mine rubbed on the car body until it finally leaked, costed me 70 dollers or so, was done same day by a shop.
