ane help on condishin on these rockers

a guy is selling a set of rockers they are the comp the 300.00 ons and the rolers that role on the valves look like they got hot he said they have 6000 miles on them is this comin to turn a broun ish hot lock.i cant post picks but can send them to you he is selling for 200, sorry i have bad dyslexia.so spelling sucks

Dont pay $200 for a set of rockers you think are in bad shape. For that much you can pretty much get any used rockers you want.

[mdacton] is going to try to post the pictures. I was going to get these rockers anyway. This may be what they're supposed to look like I'm not sure. They just look like they got a little hot not even sure. They might look like this after 6000 miles. You guys have probably seen your rockers after they been used .

Depends on the year. Not all dowel pins are the same length. I think 95-97 is different than 93-94 but im sure someone who knows more will confirm.

95-97 LT1s use the long dowel. GM spec is .620 long, but as long as it's not much shorter than .600 and no longer than .650 it'll be fine.

The cam and the rockers both appear to have some dark heat spots on them. I'd be real sceptical about that. Looks like they either got really hot, or else weren't set up properly causing alot of friction.

Or maybe the pics just make it look that way

ok i gave up on the comp. they lock over heted . hase any one used these
he sed they ar as good as the comp and lock much better i will be bying them to day inles ane one her sees a problum sare about the spelling i have deslixia and no spell check her at work.hers the link
