Oklahoma mechanics in here!
Is there ANYONE in Oklahoma city area that has alot of built lt1 experience, or know anyone that has a shop and would be willing to work on my camaro? I need help getting my camaro to run right, and so far, there is no one that I can trust it with. I will pay you to help me. It's a fresh built 383 w/ a supercharger, blower cam, all that stuff, and I need help making it run right. Not running right at the moment and not sure what it could be.

I'm from OKC and a real hard-core LT person, but not a production mechanic. Although, I do as much of my own mechanical work as possible. As for LT tuning, nothing really here in OKC, but we have Ed Wright at Tulsa. I'm using PCMforLess tuning and I'm really happy with Bryan's work.
There are some people (part time) and shops that specalize in F-Bodies and LT mechanic work here in OKC and have a good reputation. You probably know who they are, if not PM me and I'll fill you in. Again, no "world class" LT tuning locally I'm aware of.

I went to Ed Wright for tuning, but this is a mechanical issue. I also have a pcmforless tune in it right now. I have lt1 edit for my pcm and datamaster for the datalogging, so that would help whoever determine what the problems could be.

I haven't gotten to dyno it yet. Well, just tonight I found that my spark plug wire boot at the spark plug was fried. I think that was the only thing I was worried about. Now it's the blow by I'm getting. My dipstick pops out. I need to do a compression test and a leak down test to see if its my rings. I really hope it's not, since this engine has like 8 miles on it. grrrr.

Do a compression test and see if it's holding that, a SC with full throttle and a bad evac system can put some undue pressure on a crankcase.
On a SC car as well a non-firing cylender can be VERY noticeable as you have found out.

Have you ever pulled the oil fill cap while the motor is running? Does it puff smoke? Like WS Sick said above, it is possible everything is in good working shape....you may just need to find a good way to relieve some of the crankcase pressure.

if the engine has 8 miles on it, theres a good chance the rings have not seated. but if you are still looking for a camaro shop in OKC there is American Camaro and Firebird, and Extreme Performance.

I have a breather on the passenger side valve cover. I need help figuring out my best course of action for an excellent pcv system. If it puffs smoke, then what?

If it puffs smoke out pretty good at idle youre pushing alot past your rings. If it is very minimal then youre ring seal down low is good.
