Okay, so I broke my timing chain....

After breaking my timing chain I am being told that I very possibly damaged some valvetrain parts (valves specifically) so what I'm wondering is there any way to chack to make sure everything is still ok without taking the heads off? Also could I have damaged the piston tops for any reason?

Oh, and everyone that does an opti change I would recommend a new timing chain....damn it!!!!!!!

probably should just plan on pulling the heads and that might give you an idea of the damage.

If you back all the rockers off and give it a leak down test you will be able to tell of you bent valves.

WOW!

I think the best this to do it take the heads off, otherwise you can remove the rocker and the springs and check to see if any valves are bent but your never going to know about the pistons or the condition of the valve until you take the head off.
