1.plan to spend more than $800
start with the basics
complete tune up.
basic bolt ons
CAI, headers, catback or cutout, TUNING, 3.73's.
and you probably going to need a cam to run consistant 12's.
maybe the xe224/230

and after you get all the bolts on and cam in and worked out, your going to need a set of drag radials to get traction.

140 miles to a tank with a 6 speed? I think something is wrong with your car. In city driving I get around 220 - 250 miles to a tank and I have a heavy right foot On the highway I get around 330 miles or so. Oh and I should note that my O2's are shot right now and I have the SES coming on.

Maybe he stops shifting once he hits 3rd gear or something.

Cool

Is your 95 an OBD I or OBD II car? If it's an OBD I car I would replace the O2 sensor now.

Sticky tires, headers, CAI, gears, free modifications, full exhaust, and maybe a converter, and you should be damn near close.

See times in signature for bolt-on only times.

It'll probably take most of the bolt ons and in some cases rr's or cam

Definitely plan more than $800. I just spent $1200 for long tubes and a basic tune up alone. I'm eagerly awaiting those parts.

12's at the track? $800?

CAI, Cut-out, used drag tires, and 150-200 shot.

Thats pending a good tune up. Thats also the cheepest way I could imagine getting to the 12's.

You could gut out the car and make it easier on your wallet, otherwise, as you probly already know, this is going to cost plenty over 800.

You should have no problem at all running 12's with just bolt ons. The cheapest way would be to just throw nitrous and some sticky tires on there.
