i dont know if it is causing the high pitch sound but i looked at your video and the hose that comes from the valve cover to the trottle body is torn.

i just though of something else, mabe the high pitched noise is from the bearings starting to go bad for the ac compressor,tensioner, altenator or powersteering pump? as far as your performance...another vote for the cat

Uhg arms are tired and I didn't get it off cause it started poring. I have a converter in my car so im going to try and borrow something electric to make the job easier

I would add another vote for clogged cat, my old z28 that I had 5 years ago did the EXACT same thing, car would barely run, would go into limp mode and start overheating. New cat, and problem solved.

OK Guys you all win you lil bastards!! It was the cat. I have about 200 metal splinters all over my face from flying debree using only a dremel tool with 3/8" cutting wheels. Its the only tool I had to do the job lol. Anyway after cutting a trap door before the cat the car runs fine again. Way too loud so its going to the muffle shop tomorrow for a test pipe.

Does anyone think I will have any probs not running a cat?
