Ok tried a poll now try straight question should I spend the extra on jet hot macs?

Are all the jet hot macs rusting to pieces? I dont' drive the car in winter. Is it worth it getting jet hot macs or is the factory coating not all that bad on non winter driven cars? The jet hot isn't cheap and if it don't stand up whats the point of getting it. To just reduce heat in engine compartment is minor reason to me.

How much can you get non coated MAC's for?

You can get Jet-Hot coated MAC's for $560 including shipping. (actually mine were $540 with the X-mas special)

It's WELL worth the extra $100 or so.

I think 439 or something in 94 to 95 configuration with no cat which is fine with me. No emmissions here just put bullet in intermediate pipe and call it a day.

From what I've read you have to baby the jet hots to keep them from rusting wiping them down once a month should do it. I'll let you know in a couple of months.

Make sure if you do order them anytime that you ask jet-hot if mac has them in stock. I just waited almost three weeks and i decided to ask Chris about the status of my order and he informed they are back ordered from mac. So i'm kind of pissed jet-hot didn't call me and inform me of this and they wasted two weeks that i could have used to order another set and be putting my car together. I think i even have to wait a few days for them to transfer the money back to my parents credit card or whatever so that's a few more days that i could have used I don't know how well there coating is but as for telling you important things like THEY ARE BACKORDERED is something most people would like to know but i wasen't informed. I'd also search for jet-hot on this forum, i think a few people had some problems with the coating coming off in a few weeks but i was hoping they were wrong but i don't have to worry about that now since i'm going to get someone else to coat them. Jet-hot said it would take 2-3 weeks to get the headers when my dad placed the order, we paid them the money so i think they should have pulled their end and just ordered a set from some store and coated them for what they charged me instead of telling me if would cost more if i wanted to that ( Over like 650 with the discount) so i just decided to cancel my order since jet-hot can't keep their word.
