ok...Problem AFter LT install....

ok well got everything together, my hooker LT's along with o2 extensions and my new custom y pipe i had made, well i started to get a ses light, it would come on and off, now my car is idling real ruff at idle, One solution to what i think it is, is when i had my o2 sensor out of my passenger side header, my brothers friend left all my tool and **** outside and it rained...do you think that could cause my bad idle and everything? cause the plugs and wires look fine to me...i reset my pcm and everything...
please help QUICK
randy

Sounds like a crossed plug wire somewhere. LTs wont effect the engine's running like in your situation. The difference is minor

no i didnt cross the plug wire, i have the camaro/firebird repair manual...
do you think the cats are causing not enough air to go through?
or what?

Why don't you just read the code that the computer is throwing and go from there. I would double check the wires to make sure nothing is crossed, burned, or not making a good contact with the spark plugs.

I'm pretty sure o2 sensors aren't being used until the car is in closed loop, so if the car runs like crap from the getgo I'd say its ignition related (plugs/ wires)

you could have a plug wire resting on one of your LT's ... just a thought

If it ran fine last night, then I'd go with it being a burnt plug wire. Make sure none of the wires made contact with the headers

Well since there's really no other answers offered, I'd just read the code and see if that sheds any light on the situation.
