ok when i got a minor problem here, when the car sits for awhile or when i go to turn it on in the morning it wont start on the first key turn, car will crank but wont start. then i try i again and in the second crank it stars normal..any ideas on what is wrong with the car? by the way i got a 97 camaro z28 lt1

 

Check for rapid drop in fuel pressure after the pump primes, and then shuts off. Should jump to at least 40psi when you turn the key is on, then pump shuts off after a couple seconds. Pressure should not drop rapidly, or it may cause extended start times. Turn the key on and off a few times before you try and start it. If it starts on the first attempt after that, it would also indicate a problem with the fuel system.

 

ya ok ill give that a try today after work it started fine on the first key turn
