Ok before ya go tearing apart your door

My window moters were acting up, stopping half way and taking forever to go up or down. I bought 2 new door switches off ebay from a 2002 z28. Installed them and my windows have NOT acted up since. Knock on wood or my switches were causing the problem but 3 weeks and nothing they work perfect.

Thats exactly what mines does too. Sometimes mine will also go up an inch than stop and after waiting around 15 seconds or so, the window will go up another inch. At the recommendation of my local Chevy dealer, I was going to purchase some motors at $120 a piece. I think I'll try the switches first. Thanks.

The switches are really cheap at dealer wholesale. ~$12 for both sides.

I bought one about a year ago, $12 it was common enough that they even had it in stock.

Same here the door switch broke on the drivers side, and it was like $14, then a week later the pass side went out and it was like $8.

Sounds like you got ripped off

I laugh so much when I see e-bay parts. I have seen people bid a USED 93+ window motor up over $100 PLUS shipping, I got mine at the local parts store for $50 each, and they have a lifetime warranty heck the dealer only wanted like $110 when I called, lol!
