Oiled filter, car won't start?

Last night I reoiled my K&N because it was so dirty. This morning I try starting it and it won't. Could have too much oil been applied? There is power and everything, but it fades. It clicks but won't start. I retightened the battery terminals, and cleaned them off as well and those were fine. Is it possible that my battery just died and needs to be jumped? I don't have access to a car right now to jump, so I just thought I would ask you guys first.

Dead battery. Jump it or charge it, then get it tested to find out why it was low.

The thing is, I always have to do this, at least once a month. I don't leave any lights on or anything. Do you think that it's time for a new battery? It's the stock one. When my mom gets home I'll jump it, thanks. That's what I thought.

Get the battery checked. Its probably junk if it won't hold a charge.

Yup won't hold. Same thing this morning. I'll probably have to run and get a new battery, who makes good batteries that aren't insanely expensive?

There isn't a drastic price difference between the good batteries and the wal-mart specials. With that being said, I have always gotten numerous years out of my AC Delcos.

Ah cool, how much are AC Delco batteries? I'll probably get one. Are Autocraft batteries any good?

I actually like the Duralast batteries at Autozone. They are resonabley priced and have a great warranty.
