Not that I can remember. But I do remember it was thick and slippery.

Would it be okay using gear/motor oil if the car won't be started let's say 3-5 weeks after cam install?

it shouldnt be a problem. Look at it this way, many people up in the northern half of the country put their cars away for 3-6 mos. When they want to take their cars out of storage, they just hop in and fire er up. Imagine how dry that engine probably is after letting all the oil drain for 3-6mos. I'm sure that 90w gear oil would do a good a job of staying in your cam bearings for a few weeks. I installed my cam about 2 weeks ago using 90w, and it probably wont be another 2-3 weeks before i even get my motor back in.

this is totally off topic man, but that hood looks awesome. That is the big block hood, right??

Lawd have mercy, i have to get me a hood like that.

My car is quasar blue, but i think it will still look ok
