This is going to sound stupid, but the manual states 4.5L with filter change. when i check the dipstick its way low still even after running the motor a bit. 5.25-5.5 seems to be about right. Do i have the wrong dip stick possibly or is the book wrong?

 

The owner's manuals vary over the years for some odd reason, but 5 qts. is the norm. If you have a different size filter it may be a little more or less.
