Oil in valve cover ?

Should there be alot oil splashing in the valve covers. I just got my car running after head gaskets, and with the car running i opened the oil cap and could not see oil spashing around. I have good oil pressure. I hope i didnt screw something up when i did the heads.

I doubt that you are going to see "splashing".

No, you'll see no splashing. Definitely no "splashing" while idling. You should see a river of oil flowing at the bottom of the head though.
