oil under intake manifold

about 2 weeks ago I changed out my intake manifold gasket. When I took off my intake manifold I noticed it was covered in oil, but didn't think anything of it. Now people are saying that there shouldn't be any oil in there. Now my car is stumbling in the lower rpms. And the leak came back(probably cause of a crappy job by me). What causes oil to get in there, and how do I fix it? And also would this cause the stumble? The stumble is getting a little worse, it used to only happen under 2k rpms, now it happens under 2.5k rpms. Any suggestions?

Any oil under the intake is normal. Oil in the intake runners is the only thing to be concerned about and even a little there is normal.
