I think I had an Idea. Since the Autometer phantom oil and tranny gauges are the same range and both electric.... Could I have one gauge and wire some sort of toggle switch to switch between them? I could save space and $$$.

 

yes you could you would just have to buy an extra sending unit. And a toggel switch that will allow it to switch from one to the other.

Just wire each sender to the outside tab on a SPDT switch, and the gauge to the middle tab!
