oil on top of pass. side valve cover??
Re: oil on top of pass. side valve cover??
where at? unless some could be leaking out of the oil fill hole. ?? oil does'nt flow through the top of the heads so that doesn't really seem possible. oil only quirts through the pushrod a enough to keep the rockers lubed and the springs cool. ???

Not exactly..... the PCV valve is on the drivers side. But it does come out of the grommet in the passenger side valve cover that holds the plastic elbow that the line from the throttle body connects to.
It might be a case of a dried out grommet, or it could be a plugged PCV valve, or excessive piston ring blowby venting through the grommet. Hoepfully, its just the loose grommet.
Check the hose from the TB for oil. Then take the cover plate off the TB and look for oil buildup in the top of the TB.
Normally that hose supplies clean air from the TB to the valve cover, and the PCV valve pulls that air through the crankcase, out through the PCV valve, and dumps it back into a vacuum port on the intake manifold. If you plug the PCV (or have excessive blowby), pressure builds up in the crankcase, and flow in the line reverses and vents the crankcase into the throttle body. Often picks up oil drops on the way and fills the hose and TB with oil.
