oil seals touching the valve springs

oil seals touching the valve springs

i have dual valve spring comp brand and it seems like my oil seals on the guides are touching the inner spring. this doesnt seem normal but i dont see were i could find a smaller seal. any suggestions??

youll probably have to have the guides cut for smaller seals.

any other suggestions? im sure not eeveryone who runs dual springs has to hae guides cut.

My comp 985s clear my GM seals. The GMs are the smallest out there AFAIK that fit on the stock guide

What specific springs are you using? I've used both 986 and 987 with the stock seal and they clear fine. The older rubber seals are bigger and they will hit, is it possible that you're running with those.

i suppose its possible they are black seals with a spring around them other than that im not sure. im running 985's.

Then the GM seals should clear. Mine do.
