What do you use again in the winter and in the summer?

I always thought it was 5w-30 in the summer and 10w-30 in the winter, but I've been told differently.

Now I hear it was 5w-30 in the winter cuz its thinner. Is this right?

 

I just use 5w-30 year around. It didn't come from the factory stating to use blah blah weight during this time of the year and yada yada weight another time of the year.

 

I'm going to use 0w40 year round. It has comparable oil pressure at cold start up to 5w30, but fully warmed up I get nice pressure at redline.

 

Ive used 10W-30 from day one with no troubles, it gets down to 0 a few days a year here.
