Oil pump priming question...

Okay I have primed my engine with the priming tool and I want to mention the results to ensure there is no problem.

When cranking the pump with my Dewalt drill there is a definite resistance put on the drill, yu can see oil flowing out where the collar of the priming tool is and onto the top of the block. The seal around that tool is very loose.

The #1 intake rocker is the only rocker that shows oil coming out the top, none of the othres.

I can here oil squirting out the front onto the timing set on the driver side gallery. I pulled the #2 intake lifter out and observed oil coming through the passenger side gallery.

It seems to me that the collar on the priming tool is allowing too much oil to pass around it again byt the very loose fit thereby reducing priming pressure. Plus the only reason I am seeing oil on the # intake lifter is due to it being at the end of the gallery that is getting the most pressure.

By the way the way the steel ball is in the hole above the #5 main and all plugs are plugged.

Does all this sound good?
Thanks
