Oil pump drive gear question

So I have to pull my intake because of a leak. The motor has approx 140k on the clock and will most likely be rebuilt within a year or two. Should I disturb the oil pump drive gear or leave it be? The oil pressure is good, 60 psi cold and 18 psi fully hot read from the port behind the intake manifold slightly over 20 psi of oil pressure at the port right above the filter.

Thank you
BB

You could pull it out and look at it to see if it is worn. That might help you decide.

Like Shoe said. Pull it out and check for excessive wear on any of the teeth. Get your head back there and look at the cam gear as well for wear. It will only take a minute or two to make sure.
