I installed my Pacesetter Long tubes but now my oil pressure sensor is touching the header. Will the sensor be ok if I can put the boot over the sensor?

 

You could move the oil pressure sensor to the top/rear of the block, where it is located on all the LT1's except the 93 and very early 94 models.

Alternatively, look at adding an angle fitting to move the sensor away from the headers.

All that heat can't be good for it.
