Oil pressure sending unit

I recently took out the tranny had it fixed then put it back in. And it turns out that the sending unit got crushed, now I am having a hell of a time taking it off. so any of you guys know an easy way to take it off or have done this before I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Use an oil pressure sensor socket and an extension aimed from the power brake booster area, along the firewall, toward the sensor.

I picked up one from O'reillys for about 3-5 bucks...Just make sure you get the right one because the oil pressure sending units on these engines are long.

i had that same problem, i took it to a guy and he got it off and on in like 30 min (including the delivery time from a NAPA store)
