Hey guys whast up, lately whenever i make a sharp turn, ussually a right turn onto a side street and downshifting, my oil pressure gauge sharply drops down to 0 and then has i come out of the sharp turn it goes right back, it happens pretty fast i dont think i am acctually losing pressure. The check gauges light does come on. Is the gague shot? somthing shorting out? anyone else have this happen? thanks

 

Sounds like you are low on oil or your oil pump pickup is not in the position it should be. Hopefully the pickup is not laying on the bottom of the pan. Perhaps you could rap on the bottom of the pan to see if you can detect the pickup bouncing up/rattling.

 

good point i haddent thought about that. I think my oil level is good, i will double check it today, and ill try hitting the pan as soon as i get a chance. until i get it figured out i guess i'll just take those turns easy thanks for the help
