Oil Pressure for a 128k mile lt1 m6

After some other threads about oil pressure i wanted to ask my own.
My 94 ta is showing about 25 on the pressure gauge at 1600rpm in 6th gear. Is this fine or a sign of trouble. On start up it is around the middle of the gauge but slowing goes down to 25 or so.

Thanks,

25psi is fine. I think you want a min of 15psi running hot and an increase of about 10psi for every 1000RPM.

If you haven't removed the oil cooler, it is highly recommended that you do asap.

I haven't removed the oil cooler yet. I just heard about that. I will read into it. Should you remove it or can i buy a replacement one that would work better?

Can you explain the importance of removing the oil cooler? I haven't removed mine, and I'm around the same mileage...

running 10w30 oil at 112,000 miles i see about 30-35 psi at 1600 rpm fully warmed up

i have also heard of people removing their coolers, but i thought it was the style of cooler that came on 96-97 LT1's i thought they were a little different internally and easier to plug up with crud, but the earlier coolers were ok

can anyone elaborate?

the oil coolers use coolant in the rad. to warm up the oil during and after start up. *I think*. I do know that they easily clog up and removing them usually results in more pressure.
The 94-95 cars had a better design i understand but still, after time they will clog. I dont think the 93 cars came with them.
If you search around you will find plenty of threads about removing it.

Could this be a cause of a coolant leak i can't find anywhere? It hits the ground well behind were the hose are.
