Cant keep her cool

94 z28 a4 hotcam...cant keep her cool, in this damn 90 degree weather. I have a 160 thermostat, fans coming on at like 170ish, and i've drained the radiator and filled it with water and water wetter.

Do I need a bigger radiator, can i stack radiators, what to do?

BTW when I say I cant keep her cool, I mean she is getting up to like 195 to 210.

Thanks,

Pride

angier.. NC..

now, as for your cooling problem... I'm guessing the gurus on here will tell you that the temps you are seeing are NOT way out of line. (Where on the gauge... 3/4?)

When mine gets hot it is at 3/4... rest of the time it is just above the 1/4 mark..

You don't have a cooling problem, but make sure there is no debris in front of the radiator (or between the a/c condenser and radiator).

1) those temps are still well within the "normal" range
2) check for debris as Shoebox said
3) have you purged the air out of the system properly?
