Oil pan thread size at sensor

Does anyone know the thread size for the low oil sensor in the pan? I don't need this sensor and I want to delete it because it is leaking. I could probably use an oil plug if I could find the thread size.

I believe it's 20m x 1.5. You can order a plug from Canton Racing Products. PN #22-405

I would just get a new gasket, you'll probably end up buyin the gasket anyway to install the new plug.

Re: Oil pan thread size at sensor

The sensor is useless in my car since I don't have an oil light. I also don't like the idea of a plastic sensor(that has broken off in other peoples engines) in my oil pan. I am building a new engine and I am just going to delete it. Thank you for the reply on thread size.

Re: Oil pan thread size at sensor

I went and checked Canton's site and that is the size they listed as well. I went to the parts store and bought an oil plug that size. It was about $3. Thanks to those that helped.
