oil pan Needed for 355?

my oil pan is trashed after a connecting rod went through it, doing a 355 setup, i know i don't need an after market (ex: moroso) for the sake of clearence, but will i need a bigger capacity for the sake of not loosing oil pressure at high rpms?
also, will a 6 or 7 qt pan hang down lower that a stock one? car is lowered.
thanks
-Jason

I've seen the stock pan and stock pump support an 1,125HP LT1 running to 8,000+rpm redline. A stock pan will be fine.

Right here:
http://cjcfo.fbody.com/members/injun.../DCP02600z.jpg

George Baxter's 30th SS convertible, 1,125 flywheelHP from a 381 running a Vortech S/C with 20+ # of boost, heavily worked Canfield heads, Hooker LT's, 8,000rpm solid roller, Art Carr TH400, Moser 9-inch, MoTeC ECU. Ran 9.04@155mph at a 3,900# race weight, and for almost 2 years (2000-2002) was the quickest known LT1.

Eventually the car ran 8.60@160, but that was with a Gen 1 SBC 383 w/ Vortech S/C.
