Oil Pan leak?

Oil Pan leak?
I Just got down putting together the motor fresh 383 and its leaking oil,a slow drip drip in the front of the oil pan under the timing chain it is a aftermarket pan.I used all GM gaskets,Now am I wasting my time if I try and put some gasket maker were its leaking from?I dont want to have to pull the pan off
