Guys I have an LT1 383 stroker, and I have a problem with the Canton pan installed (part # 15-244t - larger race pan with baffles). We pulled it this weekend and realized the leaking is coming from the front seal as the pan is sitting on the rack/pinion and has bent the pan slightly causing it to leak. This is due to the fact we didn't follow Canton's reccs when we installed the motor to shim the motor mounts and/or lower the rack/pinion. I am going to stick with this pan as the lip is fine and I can seal it well with a Felpro one pience, but I need to get it off the rack and pinion.

Anyone have any recs on shiming the motor mounts as I am going to stick with the canton but shim the motor mounts to bring her up a bit and change out the mounts while I am in there. Do you have any prefs on motor mounts to use or if there are any out there that will raise the height slightly? Thanks and let me know.
