oil pan fitment issue

oil pan fitment issue

installed billet 4 bolt mains and miloden windage tray studs and i think the oil pan is hitting the 2 studs that are the furthest forward anybody have this problem and is it cool to just notch the oil pan with a hammer or something of the sort.

Yes just determine where it is hitting the pan and pop some clearance ito it.

Also, in addition to dimpling the pan, you might be able to shorten the two studs a bit. I had the same thing with those studs being slightly too long.

its actually hitting on the new main caps i need to get an aftermarket oil pan now wooo hoo...
