Is it oil in my trottle body?
Is it oil in my trottle body?
I just changed my intake elbow tonight and while doing so i noticed some oil like residue in the bore and around the plates. Not alot and not sure its oil. The car runs great no problems at all that are showing themselves anyways. The oil is always in good shape, its not consuming any. Any info on this thanks guys.

Stupid me
I check my PCV and it didnt shake so i changed it. I take the elbow off everyone once inawhile and this is the first iv noticed it, i cleaned the crap out of it trust me lol. So hopefully, Ill keep and eye on it and see what sup. Thanks for the information.
This is "blow-by" from the line that runs from the valve cover to the TB and is normal. Just use the spray as mentioned above about every six months or so depending on your driving habits to clean it, also next time your "elbow" is off, open the "butterflys" and spray into the manifold also.
