oil leaking from low oil sensor?

Hi everyone, my car is leaking oil from what i think is the low oil level sensor(right above the drain plug.) I looked under the car this morning to check for leaks as i just finished my header install last night, and it leaked a small puddle, about 3-4 inches i diameter i would estimate. I tightened the bolt down and i think it is leaking from where the wires plug into the bolt. I also just put headers in the car, and i had to unbolt the dipstick and move it around a lot, could that have something to do with it? Has anyone else had this problem?

I had to replace that sensor on my car, it leaks internally where the wires come out, so tightning it doesnt do anything. I think the part cost me $30 at checker. Not a big deal to replace, just do it with your next oil change.

Yeah......you could have inadvertantly hit the plug and damaged the sensor during the install. What is it about these cars that you cant do a major install without somehow breaking a sensor

ok thanks guys. yeah while my dad and i were installing my headers, he told me he "wiggled the wires around" to get more room for something. That probably screwed it up, i guess i'll just have to replace it.

And yes i did find it ironic that oil is leaking from a low oil level sensor hehehe
