I had an oil leak coming from the back of the engine someplace, so I replaced the intake manifold gaskets. I never felt like I got it fixed right cause the leak never really went away, so I did it again this past summer. It seemed to fix the problem, but now it is leaking worse than ever. It is leaking enough that I am having to put oil in it every 2 weeks or so. I am not convinced it is coming from the intake though. The seal at the back of the intake has a tiny bit of oil, but there was alot more at the ridge between the heads and block (especially on the passenger side). I also noticed a fair amount of oil on the ends of the pipe that runs between the heads shown in this picture from shbox.com. Any ideas would be much appreciated as all I can find is information about the standard intake leak.

could be the valve cover gaskets or the oil pan gaslet as well. i know when i had my intake manifold gasket changed we did all 3 because i was definately leaking from the oil pan gasket and the valive covers are easy to do if you've got the intake manifold off
