Hi, I've had an oil leak for awhile now. Replaced the valve cover gasket twice on the passengerside. I'm cleaned the bottom of the car and started it, didn't notice a leak, but after sitting for a couple of days after driving there is a 3" circle of oil on the passengerside. Most of the oil is over the starter and on the header. I don't feel oil behind the intake or under the valve cover. Oil pan bolts are tight, and the rear main looks ok. I can smell burnt oil when I drive the car, and notice smoke from from the passengerside right at the door and fender area. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 

mine leaked at the back of the intake manifold. Seems to be a common place for leaks in the LT1.

 

Thanks, I'm going to put some paper towels back behind the intake. I can't feel any oil back there. But it comming from some place. Getting worse. Any sensors back of the intake that could be leaking?
