I've had a leak in my car for some time now but I can't seem to find where its coming from! I know that our cars have a problem with the rear of the intake manifold leaking so if I had to take a guess that's what I would think. But, I can't find any oil spots coming from that high up. The leak rolls down both side of the rear of the engine. I almost thought that it was coming from the seal around my oil filter at first. It drips down the starter on the other side and also back along the bottom of the transmission. It isn't a very big leak. I only get about two or three drips when I park the car. And, it only leaks after it warms up. It used to leak a lot more but I went under the car and tightened just every bolt that I could find and found that a few of the bolts around my oil pan were loose and that seemed to stop a lot of it. But I still have this pesky little leak. Any ideas?

If it's not the intake manifold back there, then I'd put money on the rear main.

 

If its the rear main then I should be able to remove the cover off of the flywheel and I should have a little puddle growing in there...right? I'll have to check. Thanks.
