Does anybody know why AC Delco changed the lt1 oil filter. The old one (pf24) was bigger and held more oil, I installed the new one the other day (pf454) and now my level is showing about 1/2 quart high with 5 quarts. Is this supposed to be better? Ican't see how.

 

454's working fine here.

 

I've been using the PF454 for about a year now and everything seems to be fine.
