I did a search to find nothing. I need to purchase an oil filter adapter but all of the ones I see on summit are different from the stock looking one I see in pictures. Jegs has one without the bypass valve is that good to use? Otherwise which one on summit would be a direct replacement for the LT1??

While we are on the subject what is the best filter to use with whichever adapter you guys say will work?

Just use a GM adapter. AC-Delco or Wix filter.

Shoebox, I did a search and found a picture of the correct one and this is the one it appears to be. The reason I made this post is because the following link says the only LT1 it is applicable for is a 94-94 roadmaster?

I don't mind spending the cash on the billet if they work good though.

 

that one you just posted is the same of the stock one.....it has the bypass in it. If you want one of those I can give you one for ten bucks shipped....
The billet one run 100% of the oil thru the filter
