Oil cooler woes

So today I was changing my oil and the napa filter somehow seized up on the adapter. I broke it free with the filter wrench but the cooler came down with it. After some elbow grease I got the long nut (that mounts the cooler onto the block and the filter on the cooler) off the filter and got the cooler mounted back up. I would have just bypassed it but I dont have the right adapter. When I put the filter back on and filled it back up I noticed it was dripping from there. The only thing I didnt put back on was the little clip that holds the long nut on the adapter because I planned on bypassing it this weekend. Long story short what do yall think the leak is coming from. Is there a gasket on the cooler. Also if I get the different adapter what else will I need besides a hose. Thanks I apprecite all the help.

you will need the hose, and 2 bolts.

The bolts are GM PART # 3951644

Thanks man I apprecitate it. After searching deeper it seems the 94 coolers are alot better so I might try to keep it on. Is there a gasket or should I try to RTV the cooler where it mates to the block
