As I was striping the engine I noticed an extra two hoses from the WP when I got below I saw them leading to the oil filter...what the... I didn't know that the oil cooler was a factory option. This is my 6th fbod and never saw one before, also note I just bought the car 3 weeks ago.

 

It is a factory option, my Z28 has one, my T/A does not.

 

Mines got one. I didnt know LT1s have oil coolers until I saw the different water pumps. Maybe they came with the M6's?
