I was reading some where if you use synth. oil you don't need one because of higher temp. resistence. I am about to replace my water pump and was wondering if I could get a water pump without the oil cooler feed on it for my 95 z28 camaro setup?

From the threads that i have read a lot of people remove the oil cooler. I have 131,000 miles on 1995 Z28 and have had no problems with my oil cooler.
