A bunch of crud (old oil and gritty stuff) fell down into my chamber through the spark plug hole. I took the plug out and didn't notice all the dirt around the plug. Well, it all fell in. It ended up taking almost all day, b/c i live on campus and didn't have access to a vacuum, but I finally got ahold of one and fabbed up a small tube for it and was able to suck it all out. I'm pretty sure I got it all out, but how bad would it have been if I would have left it? It had the texture of sand, and luckily it was relatively easy to suck up. Those nissan plugs are vertical and are pretty deep, so a lot of stuff gets caught down in beside it. Thanks for the info.

 

I'm sure this happens often with some people. I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you wanna take the top half of the motor off
