Offroad pipe with Hooker Cat Back.

Ive had my hooker catback on for almost a month now. I love it, it is a bit on the quiet side though. I was thinking about getting rid of the cat and putting in an off road pipe. How much will this affect the sound? Will it make it obnoxiously loud? About how much would it cost to have a muffler shop remove the cat and put in a straight pipe? What kinda power gains (if an) might I get from something like this, and will it come at the expense of low end torque?

Thanks
Mike
